Today was a much better day for work. Had everything cleaned up by 1615 for workshop on ratline seizings. We were still in the same small groups as before, although this was just a demo and tomorrow will be practice. I had been invited to the Captain's and Lorraine's dinner (she's leaving us in Reunion!), so right after workshop I showered, got cleaned up, and wore my nice new shirt the Captain got me. Dinner was a lot of fun, and we talked about a lot of things, from camels' feet to the Antigua Classics, in which we hope to go to in the Caribbean and be in the Concours d'Elegance. Dinner lasted two hours and was a great time. Then I went to the forepeak where the bros were readying a shotski. Shawn and I enjoyed a CBTh, and soon after I went to bed. Happy birthday Magic, you old sailor you.
